Effective August 1, 1999 all residential footing inspections performed by private inspection agencies shall be filed using the revised Residential Footing Inspection Report form provided by the Henrico County Department of Building Construction and Inspections. The Residential Footing Inspection Report form will only be distributed to approved agencies that have completed an orientation program delivered by the Department of Building Construction and Inspections.

Below is a list of the approved registered design professionals that are authorized to submit footing inspection reports to Henrico County in accordance with this new policy. This list will be periodically updated and distributed as additional registered design professionals are approved to participate in this new program. Also enclosed is a list of questions and answers that have been compiled since the introduction of this new policy. We will continue to distribute written notices through our newsletter mailing list, handouts at our front counter and through daily jobsite inspections.
