Sometimes called job club, Future Alternatives Networking Group (FANG) is a job search and support group which meets every Wednesday; this is an opportunity to network with other job seekers, get new job search strategies, fine tune your interviewing skills, get job leads and meet prospective employers. Offered at the CRWC Chesterfield and Henrico Office.

This seminar will provide an overview on the basics of starting a business including how and where to file for a business license and tax ID number, the basics of business financing, methods for building a business network, the importance of customer service and more! Emphasis will also be on purchasing existing an existing business or franchising.

This workshop is designed to assist participants in learning how to paint an accurate and powerful picture of job strengths; and to select the most effective format for the current job search. Participants will get an opportunity to have resumes evaluated and recommendations made on format and content. Bring your disk or flash-drive so that you can make the changes needed to update your most valuable marketing tool!

Participants will be provided with the basic format and content of a cover letter and thank you note. Participants will then be given opportunity to develop a cover letter draft.
