Donations of time, talent, and other resources are always welcome. Here are some of our needs:

Funds
We provide funds for shelter, fuel, and medical emergencies, and for positive prevention purposes such as children's summer camps.

School Supplies
VolunteersWe provide backpacks, pencils, notebooks, and school appropriate clothing. All are traditional items children need to achieve.

Volunteers
ISH relies on your gift of time as a volunteer to help ensure the success of our many projects throughout the year.

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates at local retailers go a long way towards aiding children who are homeless or who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. A number of area retailers offer discounts to needy children and families through gift certificate programs. Please inquire for a list of participating retailers.

Family Sponsors
FamilyGroup or individuals are encouraged to sponsor a family for a year or more. Help a family get back on its feet by your giving.

Overnight "Duffel Bags"
This project was designed to meet the needs of homeless and abused/neglected children. Duffel bags of new clothing and personal items help them adjust to an emergency placement. Click here for more information on emergency duffel bags(PDF).
