Emergency Care Conditions

Call 911 immediately for the following emergency conditions:

• Chest pain
• Choking
• Loss of consciousness
• Head injury
• Suspected neck injury
• Paralysis
• Heat stroke
• Frostbite
• Snakebites
• Anaphylactic reaction to any insect sting or bite
• Large, deep wounds
• Profuse, uncontrolled bleeding
• Facial lacerations
• Lacerations involving any joint
• Electrical burns
• Burns larger than palm-sized
• Broken bones
• Slurred speech
• Shortness of breath
• Penetrating eye injuries or loss of vision
