This division is responsible for seeking competent and capable persons to fill a variety of County vacancies such as managerial, administrative, clerical, technical, public safety, and skilled and unskilled positions. In order to ensure a fair selection process, the Recruitment Division advertises all vacancies on a weekly basis through www.henricojobs.com.

Our automated iRecruitment system allows users to access current job listing and descriptions online at www.henricojobs.com. These efforts generated over 29,000 applications this past year. A screening process is used to ensure that each applicant is treated equally and fairly in the employment and promotion process regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, or disability status. The division has administered and monitored a delayed hiring process that has resulted in a cost savings to the County of three to four million dollars each year.
