The Henrico County Board of Supervisors adopted the 2026 Comprehensive Plan (click here) at a Public Hearing on Tuesday, August 11, 2009.

The Henrico Planning Department is primarily responsible for land use regulations in the County. Planning staff can assist you with questions about new and existing development, from rezoning requests to variances.
All public hearings of the Planning Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals are held in Board Room of the County Administration Building, 4301 E. Parham Road, Henrico, VA 23228.
