Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals Minutes

 

Note: Minutes of both the Planning Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals are published to this site after they have been reviewed and approved by the respective board. Once the minutes are approved and signed by the Chairperson, they are posted to this website. Generally, this process takes approximately 4-6 weeks following the meeting date. Minutes are available for review only, in the Planning Department, 4301 E. Parham Road, approximately 30-days following the meeting. Signed copies of the minutes can be obtained at the Permit Center. Should you have any comments/concerns, please contact us at planning@co.henrico.va.us.

Help with downloading the Adobe Acrobat Reader



To download the Adobe Acrobat Reader, click on the link to Adobe's website. This takes you to a page titled "Downloading Adobe Acrobat Reader Software." Scroll down to #1, and click on "Registering." Fill out the needed information and click on the "Submit Registration" button at the bottom of the page. After you submit, you come back automatically to the "Downloading Adobe Acrobat Reader Software" page.

Scroll down again until you see three bars (below #3). By default, "Windows 95" is displayed in one of the bars. If you do not have Windows 95, click on the arrow to the right of this bar and select the correct platform (operating system). You can also change the items selected in the other bars.

If your computer is older and/or your hard drive is getting full, you may want to click on "Adobe Acrobat System Requirements" before downloading. Use the "back" button on your browser when you are done reviewing the system requirements.

Scroll down and click on the "Download" button. This will take you to a page titled "Downloading and Installing the Adobe Acrobat Reader..."

Scroll down and select "Download ar32e301.exe" or something similar; the file name will vary depending on which operating system you are using and other selections you made.

Depending on your operating system, you will probably get a dialog box asking where the file (for the Acrobat Reader) should be saved. Make a note of both the file name and the location where it's being saved.

After the file has finished downloading, close your browser and any other software you have running. Install the reader as you would any other software.

The method for installing new software varies by operating system. For Windows 95, hit the "Start" button, and select "Settings", then "Control Panel" then "Add/Remove Programs". A dialog box will come up. Hit the "Install" button, then "Next" then "Browse" and then navigate to the file that you just downloaded and select it. Another dialog box will come up, "This will install Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.01. Do you wish to continue?" Select "Yes", and wait while the software is installed.

From here, start the Adobe Acrobat software (probably by double-clicking on its icon), and then select "File" and "Open" and then select the name of the staff report file (or any other .pdf file) that you have downloaded.
