Upcoming Events 

Won't You Be My Valentine?
For ages 6 and older. Registration of a paying adult valentine is required. Valentine's day is about spending time with someone special. Invite one of your favorite people, and together you will create a valentine garden basket. Learn the meanings of different flowers in the garden and enjoy tea on the sun porch. Information: Elaine Olay, 343-3506.

Victorian Valentines
For all ages. The tradition of sending valentines to one's sweetheart is not a modern idea. Come learn the story of St. Valentine and how this tradition began. Historic valentines will be on display, and you can make one to send to that special someone. Information: Anna Truong, 501-2130.

Sacred Harp Shape Note Singers
For all ages. Shape note singing is worship music sung without accompaniment. Come listen to the members of the Sacred Harp Shape Note Singers as they introduce this music to Meadow Farm. The public is welcome to join in. Information: Anna Truong, 501-2130.

Beleza Brasil

Montpelier and Monticello ~ Family Trip
For ages 6 and older. Registration of a paying adult is required with children under 16. Nestled among the mountains are Jefferson's Monticello and James Madison's Montpelier. Begin the day with a guided tour of the completely restored Montpelier. Enjoy lunch at the ever-popular Michie Tavern, a Virginia Historic Landmark. Spend the afternoon at beautiful Monticello, an architectural masterpiece. Tour includes round-trip motor coach transportation, lunch, admission to sites, refreshments, and driver gratuity. 21st Annual Henrico 5K Run
For all ages. The 5K run is sponsored by Henrico Recreation and Parks in cooperation with the Innsbrook Owners Association and the Richmond Road Runners. Awards will be given to the top three overall males, the top three overall females, and the top three finishers in each of the 13 age divisions. The first 200 runners registered will also receive a t-shirt! 

To register, runners must submit an official 5K registration form (can be photocopied) and payment. The entry fee is $10 for pre-registration and $15 for on-site registration. Pre-registration can be made in person or by mail and will be accepted from January 25 through April 1. Race registration forms are available here. Registration and check-in for runners will be held from 7:30-8:45 a.m. at the Shoppes at Innsbrook off of Dominion Blvd. Information: Jeannie Murray, 501-5121.
