 Welcome to Belmont Golf Course!

Belmont Golf Course, located in Henrico County, Virginia, features an 18-hole PGA Championship golf course. In 1949, the course was host to the PGA Championship won by Sam Snead. Belmont Golf Course, formerly the Hermitage Country Club, was designed in 1916 by Albert Warren Tillenghast, one of the best course architects of his time. The course was redesigned in 1927 by Donald Ross. Henrico County purchased the golf course, recreation center, and other buildings in 1976.Recent improvements to the site include construction of the clubhouse, cosmetic improvements to the interior and exterior of the recreation center, and a pedestrian tunnel under the widened Hilliard Road.The facility includes a snack bar/lounge, meeting place and a full-service pro shop. The pro shop is open daily and offers the latest equipment and apparel at discount prices. Private golf lessons are available by appointment and gift certificates may be purchased for greens fees, golf lessons, and merchandise. Group and corporate outings are also available. Belmont Golf Course is open daily to the public and tee times are required.

Tee times until 2 p.m. are accepted up to 7 days in advance and may be made in person at the pro shop, by calling 501-4653, or online by clicking here. Walk-ins are accepted on a first-come, first available basis. All greens fees, including discounts, are a daily rate. However, an additional cart fee is required for each replay round. Non-playing guests are subject to the applicable per-person cart fee.

Youth rate applies only to child 6-12 playing with resident adult.

Weekday Greens Fee Passes

Available to Henrico residents only. Discount taken from applicable March-September regular resident rate. May be used weekdays only. Pass expires 24 months from date of purchase.
