Current Events

  • Keep Henrico Beautiful recently promoted curbside recycling at “Bark in the Park” and “Glen Allen Day”. Did you know that you don’t have to limit your recycling to two green curbside bins? You can use additional containers that you may already have in your home. Find out more at the CVWMA website: www.cvwma.com/recycling_programs/curbside_recycling/how.wbp

  • Last spring Nuckols Farm Elementary and Tuckahoe Elementary hosted “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” Field Day Events. For a field day guide please see the Educational Resources link to the left.

  • Keep Henrico Beautiful sponsored the "Critters Don't Need Litter" assembly by the Wildlife Center of Virginia at 10 Henrico County schools. The program included up-close experiences with live, non-releasable wild animals.
