Applying to Be a Foster Parent
Applying to be a foster parent is a multi-step process. Reviewing this website is the first step!
It is important that you take the Foster Parent Self-Assessment – KidsNet_Assessment_Guide.pdf – this will help you understand how you feel about fostering and if it is right for you. Feel free to contact one of the Foster Parent Trainers listed below if you have any questions.
Finally, you must attend a Foster Parent Information Meeting. We will tell you about our current needs and allow plenty of time for questions and answers.
Our next meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2013. The session will be held in our Human Services Building (West End Office), 8600 Dixon Powers Drive, Henrico, VA 23273. Please contact one of the Foster Parent Trainers to register (if you leave a message, please provide your full name(s) and how many will be in attendance):
