The Master Gardener program includes training and instruction in all aspects of horticulture, including lawn care; trees and shrubs; vegetable gardening; and pest management. Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday morning from January to March. After completing classroom training, participants serve a 50-hour internship with the Extension Office and help conduct educational programs for the general public.
There is a $135 fee to cover costs of training materials.
