Henrico County offers health care coverage through Southern Health. There are four plan choices:
Each plan provides coverage for medical, hospitalization, prescription drugs, vision, behavioral health, and wellness services. A regional network is available for each of the plans. Southern Health members can use an urgent care facility and pay the PCP copayment when they receive care- even if urgent care is received outside the Southern Health Service area. Click here to view the Southern Health booklet, which outlines the benefit and each plan.
Medco will be the 2012 pharmacy provider for retail and mail order prescription drugs. Using the mail order pharmacy benefit provides savings on generic maintenance drugs. This applies to all four Southern Health plans.
