Natural Resource Conservation Week
Experience the Enviroscape Watershed Model - This model allows students to actually watch water (and pollutants) travel throughout the watershed. Learn your Watershed Address - Students locate their own address on maps and trace the flow of water throughout the watershed. Students learn that they impact water flowing into the Chesapeake Bay
Measure "All the Water in the World" - Although it is hard to fathom the amount of water on Earth, this scaled down model allows students to see that we can measure available fresh water in just a few drops. Community Connections - Students become local planners and learn the importance of watershed planning within their community
Designate the Drain - Install storm drain plaques at your school to remind people "Only rain down the storm drain."
Participate in our Poster Contest - Contest details are available on our website.
