The County legislative team is headed by the Legislative Liaison and the five Deputy County Managers. The team and other County administration personnel review all bills introduced and make comments or recommendations on legislation having an impact on the County. They appear before numerous committee and subcommittee hearings on behalf of the County to address legislative issues. Members of the legislative team work closely with legislative staff to develop amending language to various bills and resolutions.
