Beginning on Monday, December 2, the County of Henrico Real Estate Assessment Division will conduct a five-month imaging assessment project of every accessible building in the county. The county-wide effort will involve approximately 78,000 improved, residential, commercial, industrial and rural parcels.
Using clearly marked vans, the Kansas City, Missouri-based company, Mobile Video Services, Inc., will digitally record frontal-view video footage of the buildings from the public right-of-way.
This imaging assessment is part of an ongoing project to provide more efficient and accurate real estate assessments to all Henrico citizens. The images will be integrated with the county's new Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal System (CAMA) which enhances the ability to process and analyze information about specific properties.
