Spring Break Nature Heydays
Tue, Apr 15-Fri, Apr 18, 11am-noon, Three Lakes Nature Center
All ages. Join us for this very special opportunity as we open up our classroom doors for a behind‐the‐scenes look at our nature collection. Staff naturalists will provide information on birds, turtles, snakes and more. No registration required. Information: 262-5055.
Meet the Critters
Fri, Apr 18, 1-3:30pm. Meadow Farm Museum
All ages. Join costumed guides as they offer a personal introduction to the turkeys, chickens, sheep, horses, cows, and pigs. (Large groups, please call for more information.) Information: 501-2130.

River City Band
Fri, Apr 25, 7pm, Henrico Theatre
Based in a rich traditional bluegrass sound and set up, River City Band is a group that stays true to their down home roots while continuously exploring many different genres and tastes. With crisp, soulful harmonies, strong lead instruments, and a rhythm that can burn down the barn or hold your hand steadily through a beautiful waltz, the group can create the right mood and texture for any setting. World Tai Chi Day

On the last Saturday of April each year, tens of thousands of people across the globe practice the ancient art of Tai Chi. This very special event will feature basic instruction in the Sun style for beginners and various demonstrations of other styles. At 10 am, everyone will join together to practice Tai Chi as it moves in a wave across the earth. No previous experience necessary. Free! Information: 262-4924.

Join in the revelry of the spring season at one of Henrico County’s historical gems! Music by Chris Campbell, crafts, games, face painting, tours of the tavern, food and drink will be a part of this celebration. Free! Information: 261-6898.
