Meadow Farm Museum (3400 Mountain Road Glen Allen, VA 23060).
All ages. In June of 1860, Mrs. Sheppard purchased netting from Chiles & Chennery in Richmond. Find out how this netting and other means were used to manage pests and keep furniture looking new. Information: 501-2130.

Henrico Concert Band in the Park
Mon, Jun 24, Jul 29, & Aug 26 7-8pm. Free.
Dorey Park (2999 Darbytown Road Henrico, VA 23231).
All ages. The Henrico Concert Band will perform in a series of three outdoor concerts. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and spend a casual evening in the park by the lake listening to your favorite band music! In case of inclement weather, the concerts may be cancelled. There will be no rain dates. Information: 501-5859.

Henrico Community Band in the Park 
Thur, Jun 27, Jul 25, & Aug 29, 7-8pm. Free.
Deep Run Park (9900 Ridgefield Parkway Henrico, VA 23233).
All ages. The Henrico Community Band will perform in a series of three outdoor concerts. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and spend a casual evening in the park at the Nature Pavilion listening to your favorite band music! In case of inclement weather, the concerts may be cancelled.
