World Tai Chi Day
For all ages. On the last Saturday of April each year World Tai Chi Day is celebrated in every time zone in the world! For all ages. Join us for an exciting day of health, fun, and friendly competition! It’s the 34th anniversary of the Virginia Senior Games and Henrico is partnering with the Virginia Recreation & Park Society and other statewide organizations to showcase health and athletics. There will be inflatables, face painting, and games for the kids, as well as local wellness vendors for adults, including free health screenings. A Hidden History: African-Americans at Dabbs
For all ages. Journey back in time to learn about the role of African-Americans in the history of the Dabbs House Museum. Explore the lives of enslaved blacks before and during the Civil War, such as the contributions of the United States Colored Troops on Henrico soil to the Union war effort.
