Welcome to Belmont Golf Course!

Belmont Golf Course, located in Henrico County, Virginia, features an 18-hole PGA Championship golf course. In 1949, the course was host to the PGA Championship won by Sam Snead. Belmont Golf Course, formerly the Hermitage Country Club, was designed in 1916 by Albert Warren Tillenghast, one of the best course architects of his time. The course was redesigned in 1927 by Donald Ross. Henrico County purchased the golf course, recreation center, and other buildings in 1976.Recent improvements to the site include construction of the clubhouse, cosmetic improvements to the interior and exterior of the recreation center, and a pedestrian tunnel under the widened Hilliard Road.The course center includes a snack bar/lounge, meeting place and a full-service pro shop. The pro shop is open daily and offers the latest equipment and apparel at discount prices. Private golf lessons are available by appointment and gift certificates may be purchased for greens fees, golf lessons, and merchandise. Group and corporate outings are also available. Belmont Golf Course is open daily to the public and tee times are required.

Looking for a golf partner, or interested in playing with a group? The Belmont Golf Association (BGA) and the Ladies Belmont Golf Association (LBGA) are currently accepting applications for membership. Fees

*Youth fees apply when playing with an adult and both players are Henrico County residents.

Henrico Residents:
Henrico residents may obtain a Belmont Golf Course resident card at no charge. With this card, residents will receive a $3 discount on all greens fees.

Henrico residents will also be able to purchase discounted passes for greens fees good from March-September. Passes will be available for 5, 10, and 15 rounds and are discounted 5%, 10%, and 15% per round depending on the number of rounds purchased. Ask our staff for more details.

Afternoon Specials:
Between March and September all golfers receive an additional $3 off greens fees after 2:00 p.m. and an additional $3 will be deducted after 6:00 p.m. Between October and February all golfers will receive an additional $6 off all greens fees after 2:00 p.m.
