Brook Road

The Brook Road Enhancement Study, completed in May 2003, recommended the designation of the Brook Road corridor as a Special Strategy Area.

Designation is anticipated over the new few months. The area was designated as a Virginia Enterprise Zone on July 20, 2004.

The Study proposed the formation of the Brook Road Business Association, which is now active in the promotion of the area for redevelopment and investment. The Study also identifies numerous development and redevelopment opportunities.
