Nine Mile Road

The Nine Mile Road Revitalization Plan was completed in October 1997.

The study area was designated as a Special Strategy Area in the County's Comprehensive Plan in April 2001.

In April 2003, the area was designated by the State as a Virginia Enterprise Zone.

Since its designation, significant interest has been focused on redevelopment and investment opportunities along the corridor.
