Keep Henrico Beautiful while Scouting!
Earn a patch or badge and learn
about litter and recycling!

Keep Henrico Beautiful (KHB) offers scout patches/badges to Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts who:

• Participate in a litter prevention (litter pickup or cleanup). No roadsides!
• Participate or organize a recycling project.
• Provide Public Awareness by assisting with distribution of environmental materials and/or participating in a scheduled educational event.

In addition, Scout Troops are also encouraged to "adopt" either a County park or school through the Because We Care Program. Troops agree to pick up litter a minimum of 4 times a year. A County sign will be installed to promote the troop's environmental stewardship.
