The Henrico County Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) issues permits to accept both domestic and nondomestic liquid hauled waste. All parties who wish to discharge liquid hauled waste to WRF must complete an application form and obtain the appropriate permit. The type of permit needed will be determined at the time of application. All haulers are expected to abide by the Liquid Hauled Waste Policy and a manifest form is required for each discharge showing the name, address, and telephone number for the source of the wastewater.
The only location to discharge Truck Hauled Wastes in Henrico County is at the Water Reclamation Facility discharge site, 2601 Kingsland Road, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for County designated holidays. The fee to discharge is 5 cents per gallon. The vehicle is weighed before and after discharge. The difference in weight is calculated in terms of volume and billed monthly.
