The mission of the Environmental Compliance Task Force (ECTF) is to positively impact the quality of life throughout the community. To achieve these ends, the ECTF is committed to forming practical partnerships with the citizenry and businesses, which includes a mutual goal-setting process aimed at the identification and resolution of illegal and hazardous waste, and the voluntary compliance with State and local environmental laws through education and strict enforcement; thereby, providing a safe and clean environment for all citizens. Our general goal is to promote environmental stewardship and to address and prevent environmental violations and crimes through the utilization of available government resources in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
