From: Dominion Boulevard
To: Cedar Forest Road

Project Description
Henrico County Department of Public Works is at the 90% design stage for improvements to Sadler Road. These road improvements will realign the road and bring the curves to current design standards and widen the road for improved safety. The road will be four lanes undivided with curb and gutter and improved drainage from Dominion Boulevard to Innslake Drive; and two lanes with curb and gutter and improved drainage from Innslake Drive to Cedar Forest Road.  Minor changes in road alignment are anticipated to achieve improved safety and bring intersections to right angles.  Additional design and construction will include utility improvements and realignment and stormwater infrastructure.

Project Benefits
By widening Sadler Road to a standard right of way width the road will be more easily travelled by vehicles.  The addition of an enclosed storm drainage system will limit flooding during storm events, and the curb and gutter will give this roadway a more urban appeal as well.
